Faringdon Community College students are celebrating their Religious Education GCSE accomplishment, having been awarded a grade 9 – the highest grade.
Head of Religious Education, Abby Jones, commented: “Fourteen students achieved a grade 9 in RE and of all the students entered for the full course, 44% were awarded a grade 7 or higher.”
Headteacher, Jonathan Dennett, joined the celebration and reflected: “These impressive results are a great reward for the engagement and hard work of FCC students, alongside the skill, expectations and ambition of the dedicated staff team.”
Mr Dennett continued: "We are especially proud that the students achieved these results in Year 10. This has given them great confidence as they look forward to future success in their final exams in the summer.”
